Smart Load ist ein erweiterter „File Open“ Dialog mit Filter- und Suchfunktion speziell für CATParts, CATProducts und CATDrawings. Das Tool ermöglicht auch das Hinzuladen von Parts und Products in ein Product (Insert/Existing Component)

Smart Save

Smart Save ist ein Save Management Tool welches zum einen sicherstellt dass alle aktuell geänderten Dokumente eines Products erfasst und auf Wunsch gespeichert werden. Zum anderen hinterlegt das Tool vor dem eigentlichen Speichern Informationen im Dokument die für weitergreifende Verwaltungsprozesse genutzt werden können. z.B. wird der aktuelle Benutzer als Eigner hinterlegt. Beim nächsten Speichern des Dokuments wird diese Information abgefragt. Sollte sich der Benutzer geändert haben bekommt der Anwender eine Information hierüber. Dies verhindert das versehentliche Überschreiben von Dokumenten die aktuell in der Bearbeitung anderer Personen sind.

Smart Save is a Save Management Tool which makes on the one hand side sure that all changed documents of a product gets recognized and if desired saved. On the other hand side does the tool embed information to the document which will be used for further data management processes. For instance does the tool embed the current user as the owner. Next time the document gets saved the tool retrieves the current owner and checks it against the current user. In case of inconsistence the user get a message to avoid overwriting other users data.

Reload Document

Wurde während der aktuellen Sitzung ein bereits geladenes Part oder Product durch einen anderen Anwender geändert so kann es mittels dem Tool Reload Document aktualisiert werden.

This tool updates Parts or Products which got already loaded but updated by other users.

Document Manager

Dieses Tool dient zum Festschreiben von Dokumenten welches einer Freigabe gleichkommt. Hierbei wird das Dateiattribut auf Schreibschutz gesetzt. Die Datei kann somit nicht mehr überschrieben also geändert werden.

This tool allows to set the file attribute of documents to write protected. This can be used to indicate released documents.

Assign Material

Assign Material ist ein Werkstoff-Verwaltungstool zum Pflege einer oder auch mehrerer Werkstofflisten sowie das Zuweisen von Werksoffen in CATIA als CATMaterial sowie Parameter. Unter anderem erzeugt das Tool Parameter für Oberfläche, Volumen und Gewicht und hinterlegt eine Formel welche mit dem PartBody verknüpft. Jede geometrische Änderung führt direkt zum Update der Parameterwerte so dass die Werte stets aktuell gehalten werden.

Assign Material is a material management tool which allows to maintain one or more material lists. It also allows you to apply materials out of the lists as a CATMaterial to Parts. In addition the tool creates Parameter with Formulas to show the current surface, volume and weight of the current PartBody geometry content.

Hide Wireframes

Dieses Tool stellt alle Drahtgeometrien wie Linien, Kurven und Punkte aber auch 3D-Texte und Flächen mit einem Klick ins Hide.

Visu BOM

Visu BOM generiert eine bebilderte Stückliste in Excel auf Basis eines CATProducts. Die Stückliste kann in Form einer Mengenstückliste oder als Strukturstückliste ausgegeben werden. Wobei die Struktur sich 1:1 aus der Product Struktur ableitet.

Visu BOM generates a pictures Bill Of Material in Excel based on a CATProduct. The BOM can be formatted as a quantity list or structured showing all product levels as they are given in CAD.

Hyper BOM

Hyper BOM ist wie Visu BOM ein Tool zum automatischen generieren von bebilderten Stücklisten. Jedoch bietet Hyper BOM einen wesentlich erweiterten Funktionsumfang. Es werden nicht nur die üblichen Informationen wie, Bild, Benennung, Anzahl, Gewicht, Werkstoff etc. ausgelesen sondern auch 3D Viewer Daten (STL), Oberfläche und Schwerpunkt und mehr. Mit diesen Informationen kann das Tool z.B. zwei Baustände miteinander vergleichen und erkennt präzise alle Unterschiede inklusive Geometrische Änderungen. Darüber hinaus lassen sich mehrere Baugruppen BOM’s zu einer Bauteilmatrix zusammenfahren mithilfe dessen sich Übernahmeteile innerhalb einer Produktfamilie leicht erkennen lassen.

Hyper BOM generates like Visu BOM a pictured Bill Of Materials. But Hyper BOM offers much more functionality. I does not just collect the ordinary information like picture, designation, quantity, weight, material etc. it does generate 3D Viewer Data (STL), calculates surface and center of cavity and even more. With this information the tool can for instance compare to build stages and recognize precisely all differences including geometrical changes. Furthermore it can summarize many BOM’s to build a part matrix to identify easily carryover parts and their overall quantity.

Inst Name Sync

Dieses Tool gleicht die Instanznamen mit der aktuellen PartNumber (Teilebenennung im Baum) ab.

AllCATPart to Product

AllCATPart to Product überführt Solid-Geometrien aus einem AllCATPart (Mergemodell) in ein einstufiges Product. Dabei wird der geometrische Inhalt jedes Body in der ersten Ebene in ein eigenes CATPart kopiert.

AllCATPart to Product transfers geometrical solid date out of an AllCATPart (merge part) into a single level Product. Thus the geometrical content of each Body at the first level get copied in its own CATPart.

Mirror Instance

Dieses Tool generiert eine gespiegelte Instanz eines Part oder Product innerhalb eines Products durch Manipulation der Dreh- und Übersetzungsmatrix. Die so erzeugte Teile/Baugruppen-Instanz wird im CAD als gespiegeltes Teil dargestellt, verweist aber auf die gleiche Datei wie das ursprungspart.

Quick Data Exchange

Quick Data Exchange organisiert ihre Datenaustausche zu Kunden und Lieferanten. Das Tool erkennt automatisch bei Products und Drawings welche Daten mitversendet werden müssen und packt diese in ein Zip-Achiv. Der Versand wird mit einem automatisch generiertem PDF quittiert und per eMail an den Empfänger gesendet. Das Tool unterstützt FTP-Server und bietet die Möglichkeit eine Empfängerliste inkl. Zugangsdaten zu verwalten.

Quick Data Exchange is an data transfer management tool. The tool recognizes all data which needs to be sent in case of a Product or Drawing. It uses the zip format to pack the involved data. The transfer gets receipted with an automatically generated PDF document per email to the recipient. The tool can handle FTP servers and allows you to manage a recipient list including login data for servers.

Darüber hinaus hinterlegt das Tool vor dem eigentlichen Speichern Informationen im Dokument die für weitergreifende Verwaltungsprozesse genutzt werden können. z.B. wird der aktuelle Benutzer als Eigner hinterlegt. Beim nächsten Speichern des Dokuments wird diese Information abgefragt. Sollte sich der Benutzer geändert haben bekommt der Anwender eine Information hierüber. New From in Session

Dieses Tool bietet die Möglichkeit eine Kopie (New From…) eines geladenen Parts bzw. Product innerhalb der aktuellen Sitzung zu erstellen. Dabei ist es nicht notwendig das betroffene Product neu zu laden, wie das bei der Verwendung von „Speichern unter…“ der Fall ist.

This tool creates a copy (New From..) of a loaded Part or Product. It is not necessary to reload the concerned Product which is needed using the on board Save As.. functionality from CATIA.

Rename Document

Dieses Tool unterstützt den Anwender beim Umbenennen von Parts und Products. Hierbei achtet „Rename Document“ auf die Einhaltung der CADx Namenskonvention.

This tool helps users to rename Parts and Products. “Rename Document” takes care that the new designation will follow the CADx naming convention.

Create Version

Dieses Tool unterstützt bei der Revisionierung von Parts und Products. Hierbei achtet „Create Version“ auf die Einhaltung der CADx Namenskonvention. Je nach Einstellung wird die alte Revision automatisch archiviert und ein Änderungsgrund abgefragt.

This tool helps users to promote Parts and Products. “Create Version” takes care that the new designation will follow the CADx naming convention. Depending on the settings the old revision gets automatically archived and users will be also ask to give a reason for the revision change.

Extend Tree

Dieses Tool erweitert den Strukturbaum eines CATParts um einige Geometrical Sets und fügt ein Achsensystem mit Origin Point hinzu.

This tool extends the structure tree of a CATPart by adding several Geometrical Sets and adds an Axis system incl. Origin Point.
